I studied the impact of social media on emotional well-being in young adults aged 21 to 35 using machine learning techniques. By applying K-means clustering and exploratory data analysis (EDA), I identified patterns in social media usage and emotional states. I also developed a custom R function to evaluate the accuracy of these models.

As a Computer Science teacher at Varsity Tutors, I specialize in Java and JavaFX, effectively communicating complex topics and offering reassurance to like-minded individuals. With a focus on education and community, I strive to create an engaging learning environment. Tutoring not only helps others but also enhances my expertise in computer science.

As a Returns Associate at Marshalls, I was cross-trained to work in all departments and excelled in encouraging credit card sign-ups through the 1% club. My time in retail honed my skills in customer service, multitasking, problem-solving, and salesmanship, providing me with a versatile skill set applicable to diverse professional settings.

With determination, I applied to UNC Chapel Hill, High Point University, Morehouse College, UNC Charlotte, and NCAT, receiving acceptance and over $100,000 in scholarships money. Ultimately, I chose NCAT for its full academic coverage and vibrant HBCU culture, fostering personal and cultural growth beyond racial stereotypes, aligning perfectly with my aspirations and identity.

Choosing Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) was transformative, enabling me to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate in Science degree in just four years. This dual achievement laid a strong foundation for my academic journey. Excelling in my college classes from a young age, I maintained high grades, with only one B among many A's, showcasing my dedication and ability to thrive in a rigorous academic environment. CCCC not only honed my academic prowess but also fostered essential skills like time management and critical thinking.

In 8th grade, I chose Lee Early College, prioritizing education over friends and sports like basketball, demonstrating dedication to my academic journey. This decision offered me a head start in the real world and led me to a wise mentor, our principal (Miss Timberlake), who profoundly influenced my academic journey. Opting for Lee Early College not only demonstrated dedication to my academic journey but also equipped me with invaluable skills for success in higher education and beyond.
